Cookie Policy

How we use cookies

This policy explains what cookies are, how we use them, and how you can control them. We keep it minimal — only essential cookies required for the platform to function.

Last updated: March 21, 2026

1. What Are Cookies

Cookies are small text files stored on your device (computer, tablet, or phone) when you visit a website. They are widely used to make websites work efficiently and to provide information to site owners. Cookies can be "persistent" (remaining on your device until they expire or you delete them) or "session" cookies (deleted when you close your browser).

2. Cookies We Use

We only use cookies that are strictly necessary for the operation of our platform. We do not use advertising, marketing, or tracking cookies.

3. What We Don't Use

We believe in privacy-first design. The following types of cookies are never used on our platform:

  • Advertising cookies — We do not serve ads or share data with ad networks
  • Analytics/tracking cookies — We do not use Google Analytics, Facebook Pixel, or similar tracking tools
  • Social media cookies — We do not embed social media widgets that track your activity
  • Third-party profiling cookies — We do not build behavioral profiles or sell data to third parties

No consent wall needed

Because we only use strictly necessary cookies, you are not required to opt in for our cookies to function. Under GDPR Article 5(3) and the ePrivacy Directive, essential cookies are exempt from consent requirements.

4. Local Storage

In addition to cookies, we use browser local storage for the following purposes:

  • Consent record — Stores a timestamp of when you accepted the consent banner (booking_consent_accepted)
  • Theme preference — Remembers your light/dark mode selection

Local storage data remains on your device and is never transmitted to our servers. You can clear it at any time through your browser settings.

5. How to Control Cookies

You can control and delete cookies through your browser settings. Most browsers allow you to:

  • View all cookies stored on your device
  • Delete all or specific cookies
  • Block cookies from specific or all websites
  • Set your browser to notify you when a cookie is set

Please note

Blocking essential cookies may prevent you from logging in and using the dashboard. The public-facing pages (home, pricing, about) will continue to work normally.

6. Third-Party Cookies

Our authentication provider (Clerk) and security provider (Cloudflare) may set their own cookies on your device. These are strictly functional:

7. Updates to This Policy

We may update this cookie policy to reflect changes in our practices or for regulatory compliance. Changes will be posted on this page with an updated "Last updated" date. If we begin using any non-essential cookies in the future, we will update this policy and implement a cookie consent mechanism before doing so.
